Our CommunityThe basis of Sikhism lies in the teachings of Guru Nanak and his successors. Sikh community believe in one god. Sikh ethics emphasize the congruence between spiritual development and everyday moral conduct. Its founder Guru Nanak summarized this perspective with "Truth is the highest virtue, but higher still is truthful living".
Our MissionSGSS, Indore right since its constitution has always laid emphasis on being a selfless everhelping and no profit organization to benefit entire sikh community and mankind. The mission is clear as it does not confine itself only to the religious or spiritual limits but also empower and upliftment of sikh.

Gurmat – Means True LoveTo understand Gurmat, one must understand the difference between Gurmat and Manmat. Manmat is the idea related to those without desire for Guru Sahib. While on the other hand, Gurmat comes from the ideas of love. It means to truly love anything whether it is Vaheguru or any near person.
SangatSangat associated with those whom you are associated with; and sangat plays a important role in each and everyone’s life. It helps us to merge with the Guru (Mentor) and fight our Haumai (ego). Many Sikh groups have mentioned the need for Sangat.
Gurbani Ask Us To Investigate Our MindThe Gurbani asks us to (Spiritually) inquire into our mind. The Gurbani is a powerful antidote to unawareness (Manmukhataa, state of sleep paralysis). The Gurbani urges us to examine the mind by becoming theGurmukh (one who understands the Gurbani, adopts it, and practices it.)
God in SikhismSikhism is a non-Semitic, Aryan, non-Vedic religion. It is a religion that has the sixth largest following in the world. It was founded by Guru Nanak at the end of the 15th century. It originated in the area of Pakistan and North West India called Punjab, meaning the land of thefive rivers.
Why Naam Is Important?What NaamSimran tests a lot of us; is how strong are we spiritually when we are not given anything other than NaamSimran to do. Many of us get distracted, not because of our Haumai but rather because of our own weakness spiritually and low commitment from many of our lives.
